Lunch at Kohinoor Restaurant

...I arrived late at this restaurant that serves Northern Indian cuisine at Kingfisher...the girls planned to lunch there yesterday but I was not able to make it...so today after picking up my son at SK Mutiara and sending him home to Sembulan, I drove, mind you I normally cruise in my Ipsum, speedier than usual...we decided to try out this restaurant as it is nearer to our office at Alamesra and after recommendation from Mummy Aby's husband...I took out my BB and snap some photos...

...the cosy decor from the entrance...the girls were nowhere to be seen as they were seated at the other corner hidden behind the curtains...romantic sikit kono...cheah...

...they have ordered earlier on...this is the last food to arrive...the sizzling vegetable...

...this is the full course of our lunch...goan fish curry, vegetable briyani, prawn masala, kashmiri naan, cheese naan, tandori chicken...gondo'ot or what...

...this is the jal jeera drink (blend of lime, cumin powder & mint aperitif) highly recommended by the waiter...he said it tastes a bit like sea water...whoa...still that did not deter the girls from challenging their taste bud...taste away girls...when it arrived, its murkiness look, however, does not look promising at all...the girls gave this sourly look once they took a sip...Mummy Aby and Sai chicken out from drinking the jal jeera further...Mummy Isaac and myself finished up our Mango Lassi before taking up the fear factor challenge...I finished up half and Mummy Isaac bottoms up the remaining jal jeera...meanwhile Sai is busy snapping the jal jeera for Mummy Isaac...

...note to self and girlfriends...we have had better indian cuisine...

Nice touch on the"fear factor" thingy! Too bad I'm not so adventurous when it comes to food. I eat what I like to eat..esp when they're costly! hate gambling...on food
