Here Goes Nothing

I have been meaning to do this ages ago...I have been giving 1001, not nights I'm afraid, but excuses...one after the other...rain or shine...day in and day out...you name it...it is bound to be on my list...

My husband has been nagging me to do it...he told me the beauty of doing it...a sort of legacy for our children...our life's chronicles immortalized in cyberspace...what better way than following the flow of our technological advancement to leave something behind...

I am not new to blogging actually...my husband is an avid blogger..through his blog Amazing Borneo he chronicled his passion in photography...I used to write for the earlier postings and sometimes contributed photos now and then...that was then...I am now only contributing photos...

Then something happened last week at the office...there were some sort of commotion among my 3 female mates...Mummy Aby, Mummy Isaac and Sai's eyes were glued at Mummy Aby's computer...of late I seem to be out of touch with their ongoings (sigh)...surprise, surprise...Mummy Isaac has created her own blog!!!...Sai in fact has created her own a few weeks back...from the look of it...I'm pretty sure Mummy Aby is to follow suit...I told them that I felt left behind as I haven't done anything yet...they dismissed my worry as they considered that I already have one...well, girls that was my hubby's...hmmm...then the worry started seeping in...

So, I jokingly told them not to be surprised if suddenly I did something this weekend...knowing me, they must have said to themselves, yeah right...but much, very much to my own surprise...I DID something...yeah...

I persuaded myself what better time to do it than on one own's birthday...I took photos of the cupcakes Mummy Isaac made for me and the present that Mummy Aby gave me...and not forgetting the beautiful card created by Sai which I FORGOT! to snap...I was really touched by their gestures...

So, I got myself a new laptop with hubby's help this weekend...started to create my own blog with minimal help from him actually...I know he did this on purpose for a good reason though...he has been spoonfeeding me all this while when it comes to IT...and I have to say for someone who is not IT savvy, I did quite well...

Babe, thanks for your patience...muah, muah, muah...and girlsssssssss...this is for you...
...thanks Mummy Isaac for the beautiful cupcakes (the rest were gone in a blink)...thanks Mummy Aby for the beautiful jewelry box...thanks Sai for the lift in your new MyVi to you guys know where...
